Place the patient first,
share your project in the Patient Central Hub and compete for the Patient Central Award of $15,000!

Many healthcare professionals and patient organisations in Australia develop projects leading to better care and quality of life for people living with cancer. However, these projects are often only implemented at the institution where the initiative was developed. At Servier, we believe that these projects could be shared so that more Australians impacted by cancer can benefit and experience better health outcomes.

What is the Patient Central Hub?

By launching the online Patient Central Hub, we encourage healthcare professionals and patient organisations to share their patient-centric projects for improving care and quality of life of patients with cancer. The Hub represents a focal point for all these projects, so that other hospitals and patient organisations can read about them, and implement them. This means as many patients living with cancer as possible can benefit from the positive effects of these projects.

The Patient Central Hub is the extension of a collaborative project initiated by Servier Netherlands. Inspired by their success, we decided to launch the Hub for the very first time in Australia in 2020. Please use this link to see the projects submitted: https://www.depatientcentraal.nl/en/collaborative-project-hub.

Existing projects are welcome!

Is there a project running at your hospital or organisation, which is improving care and quality of life for patients living with cancer? Has the project already been implemented at your hospital organisation, with demonstrably good outcomes?

Then put it forward to compete for the $15,000 Patient Central Award 2022!

You could take the next steps in your project using the award of AUD 15,000 to make your hospital or organisation even more patient-centric in some other way. But above all, you are sharing your project which will be seen by other healthcare institutions who may utilise it to improve quality of life and care for all cancer patients in Australia.
